Zipline Canopy Tour Guide 

Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures is currently seeking eligible applicants for the position of Zipline Canopy Tour Guide.  This position requires energetic, outgoing, adventurous, and safety conscious individuals.  Zipline Canopy Tour Guides are responsible for communicating with and overseeing guests during their experience while on the Canopy Tour to ensure an unforgettable and safe adventure.  This is an active outdoor position that not only involves engaging with guests for safety and guidance, but also daily course inspections.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Engage and build a relationship with guests while on the tour
  • Harness guests and familiarize them to the safety equipment they will be using during their adventure
  • Conduct safety demonstrations for guests and consistently assess the needs of each guest while on tour
  • Provide and document thorough daily inspections of the course, safety equipment, and opening and closing duties of the Zipline tour
  • Operating the Zipline activity including setting brakes, attaching guests to cables, and performing assists
  • Attending required trainings and meetings
  • Promote a safe and enjoyable attitude at all times amongst guests and staff to ensure a positive lifelong memory
  • Assist in grounds and course maintenance as needed
  • Assist with the Mobile Park and special events as needed, including travel to events, and sales efforts
  • Complying with and enforcing the policies, procedures, and regulations of Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures
  • Assist with other duties at Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures as needed

To be considered these qualifications must be met:

  • 18 years of age or older and prior work experience
  • Ability to engage with guests of all ages in individual and group settings while being creative and personable
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Must have excellent verbal communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Must be able to assist guests up to 270lbs from the Zipline cables and pass a physical fitness test
  • Have full range of motion and the ability hike, climb, rappel, and assist guests at heights
  • Must have weekend availability and flexible weekday availability
  • Must be able to perform all job functions for long periods of time in all weather conditions at heights
  • Ability to pass first aid course, CPR training course, and site specific Zipline course training
  • Prior ropes/climbing experience is preferred but not necessary 

Hours

This position can require full time (30-40 hours a week) during the high season and abbreviated hours during the shoulder seasons. Hours of employment are dependent on business demands.

Adventure Park Guide 

Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures is currently seeking eligible applicants for the position of Park Guide. This position requires energetic, adventurous, and safety conscious individuals. Adventure Park Guides are responsible for communicating with and overseeing guests during their experience at the Aerial Adventure Park and Mobile Park to ensure an unforgettable and safe adventure. This is an active outdoor position that not only involves communicating with guests for safety and guidance, but also daily course inspections.

  • Welcome guests and introduce them to the park
  • Harness guests and familiarize them to the safety equipment they will be using during their adventure
  • Conduct safety demonstrations for guests and consistently assess the needs of each guest while in the park
  • Provide guidance for guests when needed while they are in the park
  • Provide assists for guests as needed
  • Provide and document thorough daily inspections of the course, safety equipment, and opening and closing procedures
  • Promote a safe and enjoyable attitude at all times with guests and staff to ensure a positive lifelong memory

Park Service Specialist

Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures is currently seeing Park Service Specialists who are energetic and detail oriented.  These individuals are the first and last touch point for our guests at Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures and therefore will require a pleasant and cheerful demeanor.  The primary responsibilities include booking reservations, handling guest inquiries, harnessing guests for their adventure, ticket sales, retail sales, group coordination, group sales calls, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Welcoming guests to Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures and handling any guest inquiries
  • Answer phones and make bookings for the Aerial Park and Zipline Canopy Tour using reservation software
  • Ticket sales and issuing rain checks using point of sale software
  • Retail sales and retail inventory
  • General customer service responsibilities
  • Keep inventory and maintain harness and Zip Line Canopy Tour equipment
  • Maintaining a clean working environment and park facilities, including staff and guest space
  • Coordinate with Adventure Sales Associate and Park Manager to facilitate groups and assist with special events
  • Work with guests to ensure a positive and lifelong memory
  • Complying with and enforcing the policies, procedures, and regulations of Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures
  • Assist with other duties in the park as needed

  • 18 years of age or older and prior work experience
  • Passionate about the outdoors
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions and balance a cash drawer
  • Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Must have weekend availability and flexible weekday availability
  • Must excel in computer literacy including point of sale and reservation software
